For the past 600 years, the sea has always been a constant in our history. Manuel João Vieira reached the peak of satire when he stated in his 2001 election campaign that "Every Portuguese citizen should be entitled to receive a state-funded sailing boat." Sailing represents freedom, self-discipline, the exploration of new worlds, and the testing of our abilities.
While it is not so easy to get the government to grant this wish—or to own a full-scale model—you can own this one. Measuring 110 cm from bow to stern and 120 cm in height (from the base to the top of the mast), it is an imposing piece that sparks conversation or simply brings back fond memories.
This piece is in overall good condition, though not showroom condition. It has experienced a few minor bumps along its journey, which can either be kept as part of its history or restored (to be discussed with you).
